The sung verses:
1.
Methinks I see an heav'nly Host
of Angels on the Wing;
Methinks I hear their chearful Notes,
so merrily they sing.
2.
Let all your fears be banish'd hence,
Glad tidings I proclaim;
For there's a Saviour born today
And Jesus is his Name.
3.
Lay down your Crooks, and quit your flocks,
To Bethlehem repair;
And let your wandering steps be squar'd
By yonder shining Star.
4.
Seek not in Courts or Palaces;
Nor Royal curtains draw;
But search the Stable, see your God
Extended on the straw.
5.
Then learn from hence, ye rural swains,
The meekness of your God,
Who left the boundless Realms of joy,
To ransom you with blood.

O Jesus, My Savior
02:31
|
|||
1.
O Jesus, my Saviour, I know Thou art mine,
For thee all the pleasures of sin I resign.
Of objects most pleasing I love Thee the best,
Without thee I’m wretched, but with thee I'm blessed.
2.
The Spirit first taught me to know I was blind,
Then taught me the way of salvation to find;
And when I was sinking in dreadful despair,
Thy mercy relieved me and bid me not fear.
3.
In vain I attempt to describe what I feel,
The language of mortals or angels would fail;
My Jesus is precious, my soul's in a flame,
I'm raised to a rapture while praising his name.

02:51
|
|||
1.
If Jesus kindly say,
And with a whisp'ring word,
“Arise, my love, and come away;”
I run to meet my Lord.
2.
My soul is in mine ear,
My heart is all on flame,
My eyes are sweetly drown’d in tears
And melted is my frame.
3.
My raptur'd soul will rise,
And give a cheerful spring,
And dart thro’ all the lofty skies,
To visit Sion’s king.
4.
He meets me with a kiss,
And with a smiling face!
I taste the dear enchanting bliss,
And wonder at His grace!
5.
The world now drops its charms,
My idols all depart;
Soon as I reach the Saviour’s arms,
I give Him all my heart.
6.
A soft and tender sigh
Now heaves my hallow’d breast;
I long to lay me down and die,
And find eternal rest.

Samaria
03:55
|
|||
The text as it first appeared:
1.
Behold the Shepherd’s tender care,
Towards the sheep that strays;
Throughout the desert waste and bare,
He tracks his wand’ring ways.
2.
So Jesus while he sojourned here,
Amidst this waste of sin;
'Tis said He travell’d far and near,
And sought His sheep therein.
3.
To save from everlasting woe
An object of His care;
Behold him “through Samaria go”
A sheep had wandered there.
4.
Though she insults Him to His face,
It matter’d not to Him:
Her name was found among that race,
That Jesus must redeem.
5.
Amidst this flock, belov’d of God,
Manasseh we behold,
And though his fleece was stain’d with blood,
He brought him to the fold.
6.
Yea! from the dregs of sin and woe
Shall Grace her trophies wave;
And each to glory safe shall go,
Whom God ordain’d to save.

Sweet Harmony
03:13
|
|||
1.
O tell me no more
Of this world's vain store;
The time for such trifles with me now is o'er.
A country I've found
Where true joys abound;
To dwell I'm determined on that happy ground.
2.
No mortal will know
What Christ will bestow;
What joy, strength, and comfort do after him go.
Lo, onward I move,
To see Christ above,
None guesses how wondrous my journey will prove.
3.
Great spoils I shall win
From death, hell and sin;
'Midst outward afflictions, shall feel Christ within.
And still (which is best)
I in his dear breast
(As at the beginning) find pardon and rest.
4.
When I am to die,
Receive me, I'll cry,
For Jesus has loved me, I cannot tell why.
But this I do find,
We two are so joined,
He'll not live in glory and leave me behind.
5.
This blessing is mine
Through favor divine,
And, O my dear Jesus, the praise shall be thine;
In heaven we'll meet
In harmony sweet,
And, glory to Jesus! we'll then be complete.

Suffering Savior
03:33
|
|||
1.
Jesus, with all thy saints above
My tongue would bear her part,
Would sound aloud thy saving love,.
And sing thy bleeding heart.
Refrain:
O, the Lamb! the loving Lamb!
The Lamb on Calvary;
The Lamb that was slain, but lives again
To intercede for me!
2.
Blest be the Lamb, my dearest Lord,
Who bought me with his blood,
And quenched his Father's flaming sword
In his own vital flood:
3.
The Lamb that freed my captive soul
From Satan's heavy chains,
And sent the lion down to howl
Where hell and horror reigns.
4.
All glory to the dying Lamb,
And never-ceasing praise,
While angels live to know his name,
Or saints to feel his grace.

Supplication
02:30
|
|||
1.
O Thou that hear'st when sinners cry,
Though all my crimes before Thee lie,
Behold them not with angry look,
But blot their mem'ry from Thy book.
2.
Create my nature pure within
And form my soul averse to sin;
Let Thy good Spirit ne'er depart
Nor hide Thy presence from my heart.
3.
I cannot live without Thy light,
Cast out and banished from Thy sight;
Thy holy joys, my God, restore
And guard me that I fall no more.

Communion
01:51
|
|||
For me, oh did my Savior bleed?
And did my Sovereign die,
Would he devote that sacred head
For such a worm as I?
Refrain:
Remember me, remember me
O Lord, remember me
Remember all thy dying groans
And then remember me
